TAPE uses email/password and Google sign-in. Sessions are managed by our backend provider, and access to your data requires you to be signed in.

Administrative actions are scoped to a separate role table — account-level permissions are checked server-side on every privileged request.

Your charts, trades, signal scans, and plan data are stored in a managed Postgres database. Row-level security policies restrict every user-owned table so that you can only read and modify your own rows.

Subscription and plan records are written by trusted backend processes only — they cannot be created or modified directly from the browser.

All traffic between your browser and TAPE is served over HTTPS. Data at rest in our database and storage buckets is encrypted by the underlying managed providers.

Transactional and account emails (sign-in confirmations, trade signals you opt into) are sent through our email provider. Each marketing-style email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and suppressed addresses are not contacted again.

TAPE relies on the following categories of subprocessors: a managed backend/database provider, an email delivery provider, a payments provider for subscriptions, and AI model providers that perform chart and news analysis on the inputs you submit.

We do not sell personal data, and chart uploads are used only to produce the analysis you requested.

You can delete your trades, alerts, and analyses from inside the app at any time. To delete your full account and associated data, contact us using the address below and we will action the request.
